TMBC Biosecurity Excellence Symposium 2025

Held on Thursday 28 August 2025 at Papamoa Surf Life Saving Club, the TMBC Biosecurity Excellence Symposium continued to grow as a key moment for connection across our regional network. Bringing together biosecurity doers and thinkers from across Aotearoa, the day focused on sharing knowledge, exploring new approaches, and strengthening collaboration to protect what we value most.

With a full programme of inspiring speakers, interactive elements including a biosecurity quiz, and plenty of space for conversation, the symposium created an engaging and welcoming environment for our biosecurity kaupapa whānau. From morning tea through to the final spot prize draw, the day balanced learning with connection - reinforcing the importance of working together, locally and nationally, to support a future of biosecurity excellence.
