Planning is underway
Planning is underway for our wānanga on kaitiakitanga, focusing on enhancing the cultural competency of our network by developing our understanding of how kaitiakitanga is integrated with the spiritual, cultural and social life of local iwi.
This workshop takes a look at how we can support guardianship of our natural resources and taonga, alongside iwi and in accordance with tikanga Māori. It also considers why kaitiakitanga and biosecurity go hand in hand to protect our cultural economy.
